Two Weeks To Go!

One Month to Go!

We are so excited about the 5th annual Nerdcamp Northern New England! There are only 4 short weeks to go until we get to come together to collaborate, reconnect and learn with each other.

Registration for nErDcamp NNE is open!

Registration is open for nErDcamp Northern New England to be held at Freeport High School in Maine on Saturday, Sept. 29th. This our 5th year of nErDcamp NNE!

nErDcamp NNE is a FREE literacy un-conference. You must register in advance if you plan to attend. Space is limited, so be sure to register early! We anticipate a full conference and will start a waiting list when all of the spots are filled.

We Have an Official Date!

As you may have heard through our Facebook page, the official date for NerdcampNNE will be Saturday, September 29 and our much anticipated Nerdy Author Night will be Friday, September 28. Both events will be in Freeport, Maine with specific details coming later. 
Registration opens of Aug. 1!

Today is the day!


Nerdcamp NNE 2017 is finally here! We can't wait to learn with everyone! 

Location: Freeport High School 
Registration opens at 8:15 a.m. 
Complimentary coffee and snacks will be provided by Dunkin’ Donuts and Bow Street Market in the Cafeteria
We will begin building sessions at 9:00. 
Lunch
The Freeport High School senior class will offer lunch for sale for $10. Lunch will include a sandwiches, chips, dessert and water. Please bring cash. 

What to Bring to nErDCamp:
*Your favorite fully-charged, mobile device (laptop, tablet, phone)
*$10 for lunch or a bag lunch from home
*Ideas for sessions!

Parking:
Parking lots are located directly across from Freeport High School and also behind the high school. You can also park in the parking lot at The Gap and walk over to Freeport High School. There is NO PARKING allowed on Holbrook Street or the Snow Road behind the high school. Carpooling is highly encouraged!

Inside of a Week! Important Details and Reminders!

nErDcamp Northern New England is less than a week away! We’re looking forward to an amazing day of connecting and learning with educators, authors and kid-lit professionals from around New England.

Nerdy Author Night- September 22, 2017:

Get the weekend started by attending our Nerdy Evening with Authors and Illustrators from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday, September 22nd at the Morse Street School. Thirty-five authors from around New England will be on hand to sign books. Books will be on sale at the event. Visit here for more info.

Parking for Nerdy Author Night: Because of construction, there is no parking at Morse Street School. Please use the very back LL Bean parking lot located off of Justin’s Way

The BIG Day will be Here Soon!

Hi Nerdcampers! We hope that everyone is off to a great start at school! Our 4th annual nErDcamp Northern New England is in less than 2 weeks. What a great time to get fresh ideas for the school year!

Here are a few updates and reminders.

If you have registered and are unable to attend on Saturday, please go on the Eventbrite site to cancel. There is a waiting list of educators who would like to attend.

nErDcamp NNE follows the Edcamp model of professional development. Click here to learn more about this model.

The Freeport High School class of 2018 will be providing lunch for $10 as a fundraiser for their Project Sunrise. There will be sandwich choices, pasta salad, chips and a dessert. Please come with cash if purchasing this lunch.
You are also welcome to bring your own lunch if you like.

A light breakfast and coffee will be provided by generous sponsors. 

Don't forget about our Nerdy Author Night. It is a free event and is open so the public to tell your students!
