Hi Nerdcampers!

We hope the school year is going smoothly for all of you. Thank you for registering for the 10th Nerdcamp Northern New England!

We thought we would share some details that might help you plan your day.

When: Saturday, September 27, 2025
Where: University of Southern Maine Gorham campus (directions) Entering via College Ave is the easiest way. Park behind Bailey Hall in lot G2-B.
Time: 9:00-3:30-Registration opens at 8:15AM

The session after lunch will be used for preplanned presentations this year. Here are the descriptions of the sessions from amazing local and regional educators! We are so excited for this change.

USM does have a pay-to-park system with rates of $1.05 per hour ($6 per day) with an .85 convenience fee. Here is more info about parking.

Light breakfast items, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate will be provided in the morning. Bottled water will be provided, but we would encourage you to bring a refillable water bottle to reduce waste.

Lunch is on your own. You can bring your own lunch or visit one of the many local restaurants.

Contact hours will be awarded after completing the survey at the end of the day.

There is still plenty of space available. Please feel free to reach out to friends and colleagues who may be interested in a day of literacy-focused learning, connecting, books, and prizes!

An Exciting Change to Our Schedule

Hi NerdcampNNE Community! We want to share an exciting change in our schedule for the 10th NerdcampNNE on September 27th. Our morning will be structured, as it always has been, using the original Edcamp model, where we will have 2 consecutive sessions on topics that are decided upon by campers. Then, after lunch, we will have one 45-minute block with preplanned presentations from amazing local and regional educators. As always, we will end NerdcampNNE with our title talk sessions and door prizes.

We will be announcing the presenters and topics shortly.

We are so excited to see all of you next Saturday, Sept. 28 at USM in Gorham, Maine. For those new to our Nerdcamp you can find more information about what to expect here.

Here is some info that will help you prepare for the day.

Location: Bailey Hall-The University of Southern Maine (directions).

Parking: Entering via College Ave is the easiest way. Park behind Bailey Hall in lot G2B. USM does have a pay-to-park system with rates of $1.05 per hour ($6 per day) with a .85 convenience fee. Here is more info about parking.


Registration opens at 8:15 a.m.
Doors open at 8:00. Enter through the doors near the water tower (Lot G3) and enter Bailey hall through the door near this lot. Although the doors may be open for students, please wait until 8:00 to proceed to registration. There will be signage to help you navigate. You will want to arrive early as there is much to do before 9:00.



Lunch is on your own. There are many nearby restaurants. Here are a few options.


What to Bring to nErDCampNNE:

Your favorite fully-charged, mobile device (laptop, tablet, phone)


Your phone to pay for parking.

A bag lunch or payment options for lunch at a nearby business.

We have enough tote bags for all attendees to carry their swag, but feel free to bring your own if you like.

Lunch, Swag Alley, & Enter for door prizes: 11:25-12:50

Session 3 1:00-1:45

Title Talks 1:55-2:30

Reflection & Door Prizes 2:30-3:15



You will want to have our event site loaded on a device as it has session locations and notes.


Certificates of attendance will be provided to attendees after completing the event evaluation.
